Jon Corzine has failed to establish consistent and effective policies, resulting in no environmental progress in most areas and a worsening situation in others. The Sierra Club criticized the Corzine Administration, stating “unfortunately, we have seen an overall reduction in environmental protection over the past 3½ years.” (Sierra Club Report on the Corzine Administration July 2009).
The three key themes of Chris’ Environmental Policy are Preserving Open Space, Protecting our Oceans, and Cleaning up our Land.
A Chris Christie Environmental policy will be built around six key elements:
Return the Department of Environmental Protection to its core mission
Protecting New Jersey’s Open Space
Strongly Enforce Clean Water and Ocean Pollution Laws
